Gareth Cooke, 35, of Park Rise, Ambrosden, admitted drink driving on London Road, Bicester, on June 7. Had 115 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £1,200 and ordered to pay a £120 victims’ surcharge, a £150 criminal courts charge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for two years.

Leandra Edmands, 55, of Langdale Gate, Witney, admitted driving without due care and attention in Witney Market Square on December 12. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with four points.

Nadine King, 21, of Priory Mill Lane, Witney, admitted possessing cannabis and Mephedrone, both Class B drugs, in Witney on May 2. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge, a £180 criminal courts charge and £85 costs.

Brandon McElvaine, 24, of Freemans Road, Bodicote, Banbury, admitted possessing 32.64 grams of cannabis, a Class B drug, in Bodicote on April 7. Given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. The reason for the length of sentence was a previous record of street dealing drugs. Also ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and pay an £80 victims’ surcharge.

George Page, 21, of Tadmarton Road, Bloxham, Banbury, admitted criminally damaging a glass front door pane in Crouch Street, Banbury, on May 4. Given a two-year conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and £150 criminal courts charge.

Sean Walsh, 26, of Balliol Road, Bicester, admitted possessing 5.2 grams of Methylmethcathinone (MMC), a Class B drug, and 26.11 grams of Psilocin, a Class A, in Bicester on April 24. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and £180 criminal courts charge.

Helena Ward-Ackland, 50, of Mallard Drive, Witney, admitted assaulting two men by beating them and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour in Witney on June 8. Also admitted committing an offence while subject to a 12-month conditional discharge given at Oxford Magistrates’ Court for disorderly behaviour on March 3. Given a three-month suspended sentence, fined £100 and ordered to pay £310 compensation, an £80 victims’ surcharge and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Bradley Bland, 24, of Hightown Road, Banbury, admitted failing, without reasonable excuse, to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Banbury Magistrates’ Court on May 6 by failing to attend a rehabilitation course on May 11 and May 13. Fined £50 and told to pay a £100 criminal courts charge.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES

Jacek Koroniewski, 39, of no fixed address, admitted stealing a cereal bar and a sandwich worth £2.50 from Tesco in St Aldate’s on June 23. Also admitted carrying a pair of scissors without good reason in Tesco in St Aldate’s on the same date. Sent to prison for six weeks and ordered to pay an £80 victim’s surcharge and £180 costs.

William Beesley, 57, of Gwyneth Road, Oxford, admitted possessing a 12.5cm fixed blade hunting knife in a public place in Street Record, Mansfield Road, Oxford, on March 1 without good reason. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on June 22 after being released on bail. Sentenced to five weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, ordered to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

John Phillips, 41, of no fixed address, admitted causing criminal damage to a radio worth £30 in Luther Street, Oxford, on May 2, 2014. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on September 2. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £30 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Ejaz Aziz, 43, of Wytham Street, Oxford, admitted harassing a woman in South Parade, Oxford, between December 16, 2013 and February 13 this year. Made subject to a community order and a restraining order. Ordered to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Joseph Hiles, 25, of Millins Yard, High Street, Witney, admitted speeding at 35mph in a 30mph zone in Eynsham Road, Oxford on August 27. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.
