1. Today's front page: Children's centres across Oxfordshire could be forced to close earlier than expected due to a lack of staff.

At the end of March 2017 funding is set to be pulled from 31 of 44 children's centres and two of seven early intervention hubs.

But a letter from Jim Leivers sent out earlier this month - seen by the Oxford Mail - has suggested open access provision is likely to cease earlier than that.

2. Traffic: Marston Road is closed both ways this morning due to flooding caused by a burst water main. 

A power failure is still interfering with traffic lights in Drayton Road, Abingdon two days after it first began. The lights are currently out.
