Renowned brewer, Hook Norton Brewery, is set to celebrate its 175th anniversary in style by offering free beers at its pubs.

Dubbed ‘Hooky on Tour’, the brewers will tour all their establishments using a variety of transport modes including shire horse, ensuring patrons can enjoy a pint on the house.

Brewery workers will also interact with customers, offering beer-tasting sessions and giveaways through an easy pub quiz.

The jubilee tour commences April 1, with James commencing the celebrations by travelling on Brigadier, the brewery's Shire Horse, to visit The Pear Tree Inn, The Sun Inn and The Gate Hangs High all located in Hook Norton village.

As a special offer, customers will be treated to complimentary Hook Norton beers throughout the tour. Detailed tour schedules can be found at www.hooky.co.uk/hooky-events.

Hook Norton Brewery, founded in 1849, maintains its independence as a proud family-owned business, producing popular ales, lagers, and stouts from their unique Victorian Tower Brewery.

As part of its traditional operations, the brewing initial and substantial infrastructure is still in active use. The brewery, which operates daily, welcomes visits for tours, shopping, and to explore the museum and Malthouse Cafe.

Visitors can also meet the shire horses used for beer delivery.

Managing director, James Clarke said: "As a brewery, we would obviously be nothing without our pubs who look after and serve our beer at its best quality. We wanted to visit them all to say thank you and celebrate everything that is great about the local pub."
