QUEUES of traffic have built up near Bicester as people line up to attend the first Scramble event of 2024.

The event, held at the Bicester Heritage base, has officially sold out, with thousands of motor enthusiasts set to descend upon the site today (April 21).

AA states there are delays on the A4421 both ways around gate three of the old airfield.

The Bicester Heritage run event will take place between 9am and 2pm and will give event-goers a glimpse behind the doors of more than 50 industry-leading specialists, showrooms and workshops.

Drivers’ cars will be celebrated with a central display, inaugurating the High Smileage Club, and a host of curated displays designed to celebrate the breadth of the automotive sector – new and old.
